Filter Sock 200 Micron

Filter socks are the most convenient form of mechanical filtration. They remove excess food, detritus, organic waste, dust, and other particulates. Removing these particulates from the water column will reduce the amount of organic matter that produces ammonia and other undesirable substances in the aquarium. Filter socks also help prevent larger objects, such as sand, crabs, snails, etc. from damaging pump motors. Regular filter sock use will lower organic levels and result in CRYSTAL CLEAR WATER!Directions: Rinse before use. Filter socks are designed to be used inside a sump or refugium with a mounting bracket or hanging mechanism. Simply place filter sock in path of drain water. Allow water that enters the sump to fall directly into filter sock. Keep the plastic filter sock ring below the top edge of your sump to prevent overflow when filter sock reaches capacity.Filter socks are reusable. Turn sock inside-out and thoroughly rinse with a garden hose. For best results use a high-pressure water nozzle. Rinsing should be preformed when filter sock turns brown or when water overflows. Frequent rinsing helps to achieve optimal water quality.

Aiptasia Control

Aiptasia Control is a simple, Veterinarian approved, and quick solution for controlling aiptasia and other nuisance anemones. This product yields results within minutes of application. Aiptasia Control is reef safe and will not alter the aquariums chemistry. When used as directed it will not harm any desirable aquarium inhabitants.Directions:Shake well before using. Turn off all pumps, power heads and protein skimmers before dosage. Extract 1 cc/ml of Aiptasia Control using the supplied syringe. Gently place the syringe over the aiptasia without disrupting it. Apply the desired amount on top of the aiptasia. If results are not visible within 30 minutes, it is possible the dosage was too low. Wait 24 hours and reapply.

Classic Carbon

Classic Activated Carbons prime application is as a purifier and clarifier. It is a highly effective absorbent with a large internal surface area. Its vast porous structure allows it to catch unwanted contaminants from all aquaria. Its major treatment objective is the removal of dissolved organics as well as suspended solids and residual oxidants (chlorine and ozone). In addition, Classic Activated Carbon will aid in the removal of odor organics, micro pollutants and medications. Directions:For best results use ½ lb for every 50 gallons (189 liters) of aquarium water. Classic Activated Carbon has not been washed with chemicals, acids, or hydroxides. Therefore, it is necessary to thoroughly rinse with cold water. Following this rinsing process we recommend placing the carbon in a filter media bag. Place in high flow area of filter to maximize water flow through the media. For best results, replace carbon at least once per month. Classic Activated Carbon is ideal for use in all types of power filters, wet dry filters, canister or modular filters.

In addition, unlike some other products, Red Slime Control will not discolor your aquarium’s water. Take control of Red Slime before it takes control of your aquarium! This package will treat 400 gallons (1514 liters).Directions:For best results, siphon out as much red slime algae as possible from your aquarium. Remove a cup of water from your aquarium. Mix 1 level scoop of Red Slime Control in the cup for every 10 gallons (37.9 liters) of water in your aquarium. Dissolve thoroughly and pour solution into the aquarium. In rare cases when there is still live red slime remaining after 5 days, perform a 25% water change and repeat dosage.
