The first aquarium product of its' kind, Kent Marine ZooPlex is a suspension of whole bio-engineered marine zooplankton raised in a remote area of the world. Animal size is approximately 800 microns, ideal for filter-feeding marine invertebrates as well as planktivorous fish. Kent Marine ZooPlex provides incredibly high concentrations of Omega-3 fatty acids and carotenoid pigments. Contains essential amino acids, fiber, and high levels of color-enhancing compounds. Surpasses brine shrimp nauplii in nutritional profile; may be used as a complete brine shrimp nauplii replacement. Contains no yeast or sugars.
Kent Marine Phytoplex Phytoplankton is a highly concentrated complex of aqua cultured, naturally occurring marine phytoplankton.
It contains Nannochloropsis, Tetraselmis and Isochrysis sp. Tahitian ranging in size from 2 to 15 microns
Provides necessary proteins, carbohydrates, and lipids for live hard & soft corals, tube worms, clams and other invertebrates
Kent Marine Phytoplex Phytoplankton is rich in the omega-3 fatty acids, DHA and EPA and is useful in feeding rotifers and other plankton and in raising larval fish. Phytoplex is grown in cold saltwater under laboratory conditions. It contains over 3 billion cells per capful and is typically about 15 times as concentrated as competing live cultures, meaning that one 8 oz. bottle of Phytoplex has more phytoplankton cells than 1 gallon of the competition. It is free of viruses, toxins and heavy metals which can be a problem when using live algae cultures, cultured in outdoor ponds. Phytoplex contains Nannochloropsis, a small green flagellate and Tetraselmis, a large green flagellate both containing high EPA lipid levels as well as high protein contents. It also contains Tahitian Isochrysis, a small yellow flagellate which is rich in protein, carbohydrates and DHA lipids. Phytoplex is very useful in SPS and soft coral propagation as well as overall reef maintenance.
Kent Marine Chromaplex Phytoplankton is a unique blend of aquacultured, naturally-occurring phytoplankton. Carotenoids have been shown to increase coloration intensity of blue, green, orange, yellow, and red pigments in tissues of filter-feeding marine invertebrates.May also be used to supplement and fortify live foods such as rotifers, daphnia, and brine shrimp, as well as larval fishes and invertebrates Particles range in size from 5 to 25 microns, providing a broad range for filter-feeding marine invertebrates. Contains essential amino and fatty acids, fiber, and high levels of carotenoids.Contains no yeast or sugars!
Micro Vert Invertebrate Food contains a nutritionally balanced diet for corals, sponges, anemones, gorgonians, feather dusters, clams and other fine filter feeders. It is rich in vitamins and natural minerals from spirulina and kelp. Other products have not been properly preserved and smelled rotten, or were preserved with harsh, non food grade chemicals that smell like medicated mouthwash. Who wants to put these products into their expensive and sensitive marine aquarium? Micro Vert Invertebrate Food is properly preserved, with preservatives reserved for human food use.It has a long shelf life without refrigeration and will provide superior results, just smell the difference!
A highly-concentrated suspension of Nannochloropsis, Tahitian Isochrysis, and Tetralselmis, contains over 12 billion cells per ml (~1.2 billion cells per drop). Rich in EPA, DHA, and amino acids for maximum benefit to marine invertebrates. Size range of phytoplankton (2-15 µm collectively) is optimal for feeding a wide range of filter-feeders. Properly preserved, contains no alcohol; Requires no refrigeration or freezing!Kent Marine PhytoMax presents advanced reef hobbyists with a super-concentrated suspension of whole, unicellular phytoplankton for a broad range of filter-feeding invertebrates. PhytoMax is composed of three species of phytoplankton with a size range of 2-15 µm collectively, conducive to feeding SPS corals, sponges, clams, scallops, bryozoans, tunicates, sea fans, filter-feeding sea cucumbers, and many annelid worms such as feather dusters and Christmas tree worms. PhytoMax comprises one part of the Kent Marine Advanced Reef Care (ARC) regimen. Using this product in conjunction with ChromaMax and ZooMax, advanced reef hobbyists are able to provide an economical simulation of the natural variety of plankton available to filter-feeders, hence providing a more natural environment and proper nutrition to these organisms in captivity. When using with other foods, alternate use of products every other day or decrease dosage by half (if using two products) or one-third (if using three products) and dose every other day.Directions: Add 1 drop (0.10 ml) per 50-gallons to an 8-oz. container of aquarium water, stir, and add this to the aquarium every other day. Observe reaction of aquarium residents over 8-weeks and adjust dosage accordingly thereafter. In heavily stocked reef aquariums, the dosage will likely need to be increased, however take care not to overfeed. As with any food, monitor water quality closely after feeding. Read Use & Interaction (opposite) for additional information.Ingredients: Nannochloropsis, Tetraselmis and Isochrysis sp. tahitian (All aquacultured, naturally occuring marine phytoplankton.) citric acid. Not for human consumption. Keep out of reach of children!
