This liquid KH buffer is a highly effective alkalinity increasing solution (KH Buffer) helps to increase pH stability in an aquarium by raising the alkalinity. The Alkalin 8.3 Liquid KH Buffer provides a source of carbonates, which make up the majority by weight of aragonite, the mineral secreted by reef-building organisms as skeletal material.Continued addition raises pH until 8.3 is reached, at which point the pH remains unchanged and the alkalinity alone increases. This product is free of phosphate, silicate, and organic material.

This liquid PH increaser may be used to help increase pH in aquariums that have adequate alkalinity, yet have chronically-depressed pH levels.This is not intended to act as a permanent solution to these issues; however is can be used until the cause of the depressed pH is discovered and remedied. This Liquid pH increaser is stronger then most products and is composed of purified water and ultra-high purified materials.
