Zoo Med Turtle Bone 2-Pack is a natural calcium source for all types of aquatic turtles, box turtles, and tortoises. Rough, edible surface prevents overgrown mandibles (beaks). Helps curb unwanted chewing behavior. Zoo Med Turtle Bone is extremely beneficial for juvenile and gravid female turtles and tortoises requiring additional calcium for shell growth and egg development. Simply place in turtle’s enclosure for beneficial calcium on an “as-needed” basis. Contains two Turtle Bone cuttlebones per package.

The Growth and Maintenance formulas meet the dietary requirements of growing and adult aquatic turtles. Our pellets float making it easier for aquatic turtles, who prefer eating at the water surface, to locate their food. This food is formulated for turtles that have reached their full adult size, or a shell length of 6 inches (15 cm). Place pellets in water and allow turtles to feed for a minimum of one hour. Any uneaten food left after this time should be netted out and discarded. If your turtles eat all of their food in a short amount of time, increase the quantity of food offered at each feeding.

This floating food is made with fish, shrimp, and kale to simulate their natural diet and includes added vitamins and minerals. Feeding Instructions (by Manufacturer):Feed one to two times daily. Place a small portion of floating ReptiSticks™ in the water and allow them to eat for up to 5 minutes. Remove any uneaten food with a net after one hour.
