I ordered 2 of these cages for my 2 recently adopted syrian hamsters. The 1/2 inch bar spacing makes it a great and roomy cage option for these active little rodents, which is what I really wanted. I was surprised and pleased with the handsome look of the cage, the design which will allow relatively easy cleaning, and the Petmountain price and prompt delivery. I (and Monona and Mendota) could not be more pleased!

We have two sugar gliders and this cage is great for them, they have lots of room to play. We love it.

I love the size of this cage, our rat loves the space and levels. One problem with the ramps... our one rat has already chewed the clips where the ramps attach to the levels and the cage is only a few months old. So if you are getting one for your rat, be prepared to buy new ramps periodically..

Great cage! I have had rats for years and always had issues finding the perfect cage with ideal 1/2" bar spacing and no wire/mesh floors, as that aggravates their feet (can cause things like bumblefoot, other infections, etc.). This cage is PERFECT! I have two rats living in what friends are calling "the rat mansion" (could easily comfortably fit in a third) and the cage fits on top of my chest of drawers! 3 levels, a wheel included, and plenty of room for their igloo, hammock, multitude of toys and ropes, and even the litter pan to boot! Nice deep pan for burrowing and keeps the surrounding area outside the cage clean! FANTASTIC! Love the solid removable ramps/shelves too - easy to clean, sanitary and safe on their little feet! FINALLY, the perfect rat cage - spacious, affordable, totally designed with these little guys in mind! Great for other exotics too! Don't pass this one up :)

I went around for a while for a cage and this one appealed to me. I looked around for the same cage, but for the lowest price. On this website its only $80 compared to the $115 I kept seeing. This is my first cage and my rats love it. I would recommend it to anybody that loves animals.

This Cage is great! big, roomy, two doors top and bottom are really convenient! the only issue we've had is our Rats chewed up the plastic base and were able to escape! even though we have to buy or make a new base for it, i do not regret the purchase! pesky little rats :)

I WAS GIVEN THIS CAGE AS A "BACK-UP" FOR MY PARROT CAGE WHILE IT WAS BEING REFINISHED, CLEANED ETC.....SO I CANNOT SPEAK TO IT AS FAR AS A SMALL CRITTER CAGE UNTIL RECENTLY. I HAD A WIRE-HARED FOX TERRIER THAT WAS THE LOVE OF MY LIFE, SHE PASSED AWAY FOUR YEARS AGO LAST MAY & I SWORE NEVER AGAIN, WELL NOW I ENDED UP WITH A LITTLE JACK RUSSELL TERRIER (SHE'S THREE) HER NAME IS DIAMOND (IN THE ROUGH) I NEEDED SOME WAY TO KEEP HER FROM BOLTING OUT THE DOORS WHEN SOMEONE CAME TO THE DOOR..BINGO,THAT CAGE IS JUST PERFECT, I HAD TO PUT SOME ITALIAN TILES ON TOP TO WEIGH DOWN THE TOP SINCE THERE ARE NO CLIPS (AT LEAST I DON'T HAVE ANY) TO ATTACH TOP TO BOTTOM...BUT I PUT HER BED,BLANKET & TOYS IN IT & SHE GOES AND HANGS OUT THERE EVERY SO OFTEN, SO IN MY BOOK THIS CAGE IS A FIVE STAR AND THEN SOME, THANKS...PEACE-OUT,LEAZA

I liked this one so much that I bought all my ratties cages like this one - they house 2 or 3 nicely - easy enuf to clean (I just take the top part off the base, put the base in the bathtub & the wire top upside down, wash in hot water & Dawn detergent & rinse out, you can remove the wheel to clean it too) then dry, put back together, fill bottom with the litter and they are all set for about 5 - 7 days! They really like the little hammock too :)

This cage is wonderful!!!!  It is hard to find them though because they are such good prices for the size and quality of the cage so they go quickly it seems like.Get it while you can. Great product!

I purchased this cage for my "two little ratty girls." It's perfect for them. I wanted a bigger cage, but didn't have the room for a huge one. They LOVE it! It gives them a good amount of room to run around. I love the 1/2" wire spacing. This is a perfect cage for rats! Highly recommended.

I bought this cage to house my three pet rats. I love the design and layout of the cage: it has plenty of room for my girls, the wheel is of a good size, and there is plenty of room on the shelves for toys, small houses, and hammocks. The wheel is of good size, and my rats love running on it. It was a bit loud and caused vibrations to the cage until I secured it to the bars at the top and bottom with zip ties: now it is absolutely silent. The down side to this cage is that it is a pain to disassemble and clean. Since the wire cage fastens to the bottom (no pull out tray) you have to unhook the whole thing to clean the bottom completely. Since the wheel hangs lower than the wire cage I can't just lift the cage top with the rats inside and place it on a towel; I have to secure the rats in another location before cleaning the base. The shelves are also a bit annoying to remove and replace all the time. All in a ll it is a great starter cage for rats!

This is a decent cage, however I feel my hopes were raised a little too much. This cage seems very popular right now amongst exotic pet owners, but I feel it's overrated a bit much. The good: I love the 1/2 inch bar spacing. This is perfect for small pets and I appreciate that there is finally a cage directed at exotic pets. I love the size of the cage (not too big, and not too small!) and the coloring is a little different than what Super Pet usually offers which is a neat little change. It's easy to take apart and move around, and not terribly heavy. It's also not an eyesore like some cages can be. The bad: The cage itself is a little annoying to put together, and the ramps are really flimsy, so be very careful. There is no top opening door, but rather two front opening doors which I dislike, but that's just my opinion. There are grooves on all of the levels which makes a bigger mess if your pets are not litter trained. The price isn't all that great which is my biggest complaint. I feel this cage should cost a bit less than it is, however that is an unfortunate issue with the cage company, not this website. Overall, it's a decent cage with flaws just like any other. Unless you're willing to shell out about $100 more than the cost shown here, you probably will not find a better cage for this price.
