Her name is Gidget and she moans and groans due to old age and arthritis (just like her owner - me). She immediately got on this new bed and prefers it over many others at her disposal. I move it from our bedroom out to the common area for her comfort. Also, blowing it up did not take as much air as I feared. Easy, breezy.

On June 5, 2011:
My dog loves this bed. The cat sleeps in it every chance she can. I bought this because my dog broke her leg and I thought it would be easier on her. I'm thinking of getting the largest one now for the grand dog when he comes to visit.

I was looking for some cushiony comfort for my little arthritic pal. After years of buying and replacing regular pet beds due to bunching fluff, I honestly think this bed is the answer to our needs! Regular pet beds only last through so many washes and then have to be replaced. This inflatable bed alone is perfect, but the added cover is a bonus! She was on the bed within 5 minutes of placing it and for the first time doesn't seem to mind not sleeping in our bed. After the first 2 weeks I checked it for sagging and tried to add more air, but it was still fully inflated. It is made of a durable material and keeping the bed fresh and clean is easy as pie! I actually bought 2 of these beds so our other baby wouldn't get jealous and it's a good thing because she loves the bed too. So whether you have a pet with special needs or not, this bed is the perfect answer for lasting comfort and convenience! My only regret is not buying these beds years ago!

I have 3 Border Collies, 1 Corgi, and 1 Yellow Lab. They all sleep in our bedroom (yes, they're spoiled) and I've searched and searched for a "better dog bed." My search ended when I found the Snoozzy OrthoAir beds. They're light weight, super durable, they fit my crates perfectly, and the dogs LOVE them! I bought 2 of the 5000 for my large crates, plus 5 of the 4000 to put on the floor (3 upstairs and 2 in my downstairs office.) With the old stuffed beds, I was washing bulky zip-off covers endlessly and the stuffing inside would get packed down and smelly. The OrthoAir covers are like a nubby sheep wool and slip on like a fitted sheet. They're very easy to wash and I can fit all of them into one load. Plus I can simply wipe down the mattress with a damp cloth! I just can't say enough good things. I highly recommend them!

Bought for an injured beagle but my 16 year old dachshund took it over right away. Had to purchase another one since they both wanted this bed. Gave great support for my dogs injured leg.

For years I have bought regular cedar and stuffing filled beds for $20 from Costco - which are great, but accidents happen and those can't be washed (liners can, but stuffing is toast). I read great reviews on the Snoozy OrthAir and decided to go for it - so I ordered 3 of the 5000s and 1 of the 6000. My dogs took to them right away and LOVE them! The 6000 fits perfectly in my pit bull's crate, leaving no gaps for her to get her feet stuck in. I have the 5000s in various spots around the house. Even though they don't come with an air pump, I was able to blow them up by mouth using the included mouth piece in less than 5 minutes (I admit, I had to take a breather in between beds). I am sure I wasn't able to get them as firm as they could be with this method, but the dogs don't seem to mind. I was a little surprised that the cover is like a fitted sheet, so it doesn't protect the bottom. I don't think it will be an issue, as the rubber feels pretty thick, but I may buy some inexpensive felt or something and cut to cover the exposed rubber - just for extra protection against my tile floors. I look forward to many years of use out of these beds, which means they will more than pay for themselves in the long run.

On April 8, 2010:
I purchased the Snoozy OrthoAir for my elderly girl, Gretel, as she is not only arthritic but also incontinent when she sleeps. This bed has been a wonder for both of us. It's easy to clean up so the old gal stays cleaner and it's easier on her old bones. She prefers it over all of the other doggy beds in our house (and there are about 5!). She won't even share it with the puppy-he's 75 lbs. but then again, I got him his own OrthoAir! Thanks for a great product!

I have a rottie/shepherd mix who is approaching 12 years old and has pretty serious arthritis in her hips. I also have 2 younger Cane Corsi who I thought could benefit from an orthopedic bed due to their size. My eldest has incontinence issues, so I knew I would have to find something waterproof. When I first started my search, it was beginning to look like I was going to have to scrape together at least $200 a piece for the beds! I was looking at $600 total for dog beds! Then I found the SnooZZy. When I first saw it I had my doubts. It was considerably lower in price than most other beds out there and it is filled with air. I ordered 3 anyways. Apparently Pet Mountain only had 2 in stock and sent those while I was on vacation. When I came home I saw there were only 2 and Pet Mountain had credited my PayPal account back for the 1. I explained that I had 3 dogs and really needed the 3rd bed as I saw they were in stock. So they shipped me the third. I set up one of the 2 for my eldest while I waited. She did not take to it right away. I had to make her lay on it for a few weeks, as it seemed she preferred my cold hardwood floors. I am happy to report that after a few strategic moves of the bed, she is sleeping on it every night now and really seems to love it. I set up the other 2 for my other dogs and they took to them immediately! They are both 110 lbs plus and I have had no problems aside from one bed seems to lose a bit of air from time to time. We will have to keep an eye on that. Now I have a lot of trouble getting my male Cane Corso to get up to go out to the bathroom in the mornings! He doesn't even wake up anymore when I start moving around. I have to coax him and bribe him with promises of sleeping in on the weekends! All in all, I am quite happy with my purchase. I would have preferred if Pet Mountain had just shipped the third bed to me when it became available instead of canceling that portion of the order, as I have 3 dogs and 2 beds just wasn't going to cut it. I recommend these beds for any pet with arthritis or other joint issues as well as any large breed that is prone to joint health problems. They are really great for those of us with spayed females, especially, who are prone to incontinence issues or anyone with an incontinent dog.
