I now have four of these. My kitty snuggles up to them in the winter. He is an outdoor cat, but we have an indoor crate bed rigged for him to crawl into from a flap leading from the deck. Whenever he wants to warm up or to go sleep, he comes through the flap. We line his bed with these warmed disks and he's very cozy. These things have other uses too!! Slip them under a dish to keep it warm for serving. Slip them under your covers to warm your own bed before you climb in! What a great invention!!

On January 27, 2011:
My mini doxie LOVES this warmer. She really hated her crate until I added this little gem and now I've even found her going to her crate on her own. It's a simple product; so easy to use and really does hold the heat for hours and hours. My only complaint is that I didn't buy it sooner! Run don't walk to get this for your fur-baby.

we have 4 pads that we use for our outdoor cats and they are always laying on them to keep warm even after 8hrs they are still warm

On November 21, 2006:
I was looking for a way to keep my dog warm in her kennel during a recent overnight trip. I saw the Snuggle Safe and decided to try it since there were no cords or wires for her to chew. My sister volunteered to heat it in the microwave but when it came out all warm and toasty she wouldn't give it up. She has slept with it for years now and I had to order more for other family members. My dog gets jealous!
