Hagen Fluval Fluval Impeller 404 / 405 (New Style) Aquarium Canister Filter Parts at Pet Mountain

On April 3, 2013:
Pet Mountain has an excellent supply of Fluval filter parts. My 406 filter started making horrible noise. After trying several fixes, I took the motor assembly apart once again and discovered that the plastic top had come separated from the magnet. I searched high and low online and PM came through again with parts at reasonable prices. My pump is happily and quietly keeping my 180 gallon tank clean again.

Replacement impeller for Fluval 404. This silenced the old noisy impeller. Exact replacement. I had to hone out the cylinder that the impeller slides in to because the old impeller had worn groves inside the motor. I used emory cloth to hone it smooth. New impeller works perfect and is completely silent.

I have a 125 gallon tank and I've been using fluval 404 to filter it and so far it's been working great for me.
