Fluval BioScreen for Fluval C4 Power Filters are used as part of the stage 4 biological filter media and is used to block debris from entering in the final biological filter stage.  These are designed with a micro weave core to cover large surface areas and to protect the stage 5 c-nodes from clogging.

It is recommended that Bio Screens be changed every 1 to 2 months for optimal performance.  They can also be rinsed in between replacements to add to your filters life.
