I went through four count'em four different filters in 8 months for my 27gal hex tank.... then I was introduced to the fluval 105 system ....OMG what a difference what a carefree unit this has been. My tank stays virtually crystal clear for 3 1/2 months only having to ad h2o for evaporation. It is easy to clean quiet...so quiet I have had to dbl check that is actually running. This is hands down one of the best purchases I have ever made!!!!

My son introduced me to the Fluval 404. I bought one and I must say, it is a nice filter. I have a 75gal tank and it keeps it real clean. I told my father about it, and he bought one.
Sometimes it hard to close, but its worth it!
