These foam inserts are a great value being purchased from here. I ordered two separate ones with the purchase of the 110 filter for less than what one would cost me locally. The extras are stored away and should set me up for at least the next year of use. They are quite thick roughly 3" and 8" long. Fit the bottom of the filter basket tightly and the perfect first step mechanical filtration to remove any medium-large particles. Hold up very well to being rinsed thoroughly and reused time and time again. It's worth the small investment to stock up on a few.
