This is a great deal. It saves me $40 per filter change because these cut to fit pads are 5X cheaper than buying the ones made for my canister filter. They can be used for any filter I would imagine. I use them for turtles so the added mechanical filtering of the pad combined with the chemical filtering of the ammonia reduction is fantastic for me. And at this price I can easily replace them and don't have to give myself the extra work of rinsing them out to reuse (a nasty task when it comes to turtle waste). I've been using them for 2 weeks now and so far so good.
