This is just what I wanted. I have a two gallon tank for my betta so I needed a small, gentle filter. I just received and installed it today with no hassle, and it seems to be perfect so far.

I bought this filter for my 1.5 gal betta tank, and I couldn't be happier. The filter was smaller than I expected, which was great, since my tank is so small. On the lowest setting, and with the output nozzle pointed straight up, it doesn't bother my betta at all. While I would have liked a way to check and see when the sponges need replacing, the solid black filter is fairly unobtrusive. Also, would have been nice to have a larger area for charcoal, and I don't think I'll be replacing the charcoal, since it's such a small amount.

On June 19, 2007:
It's perfect size for my 3 gallon nano reef and so far seems to be doing pretty well.

But, the nozzle attachments are a bit flimsy.
