Marineland Reef Capable LED Lighting System - WITH TIMER Aquarium LED Light Fixtures at Pet Mountain

Received item just as stated on the website. Very quick turnaround from Pet Mountain. The light system works just as stated in the item description, easy to set up with simple directions and I am very satisfied with my purchase and the the price is very reasonable, the price you see is the price you pay, no ripoffs here. Kudos to Pet Mountain and their staff for a job well done, I highly recommend this company to anyone who is interested in quality products at reasonable prices and great service.

Many hobbyists feel this unit does not emit sufficient light for corals. The light does not seem as bright as other units, however it is sufficient. I have it over a 30" wide, 18" deep reef and my corals are thriving, even on the bottom. The price is great, and Pet Mountain has the best price. Although its low profile is attractive, this necessitates operating it over a glass shield, which is a drawback. I also feel the blue LEDs aren't as asthetically pleasing as fluorescent actinics.

I decided to purchase this light to replace my compact fluorescent light so I can save money on my monthly electricity bill and so I don't have to buy bulbs every year! Then I found petmountain and am saving a bundle on the price and free shipping. The video was also very helpful with timer instructions. Thank you, you guys made my day!

I received my new Marineland LED with timer yesterday for my 20 gallon nano reef, and I am amazed at the difference it makes!! The timer is easy to set up, it's ready to go right out of the box, and the shimmer effect is outstanding. I would absolutely recommend this to anyone, and will only have this lighting on my future tanks!!

The light seems awesome so far. Time will tell but I have high hopes for these LEDS!

I am very impressed. I have 110gal tall, and really did not think light would reach the bottom. Well it gets to the bottom with no problem, I am able to put coral on the bottom along with mushrooms and everything is growing well.

On January 31, 2012:
The light works great and my corals love it.. Great product as of now. We will see how it holds up long term. If it holds up I will replace all of my tanks lighting with the LED system.

Opened box and plugged in as explained. Works great, No problems. All the LED's work and the blue LED's for nighttime viewing are great. Best purchase I made. Thanks a lot Pet Mountain best price around also. Thanks again.

once i set up the Marineland reef capable led lighting system, i was impressed. My coral opened and it is very bright. It runs somewhat warm but isn't too bad, its also very slim and fits fine on my tank.

My husband really wanted to go with something other than the standard lighting for saltwater aquariums. Our corals are doing great with this lighting. We would definitely suggest this product.

Just got this from Pet Mountain. I got it in three days, FAST shipping! The light it great, looks really slim and sleek and really brings out all the colors in the tank, and the blue LED for light are awesome, really great value, I almost bought a T-5 but found this. A must have.
