The Nova Extreme X2 Saltwater Light Fixture combines the best in both design and functionality and is a great addition to any aquarium. The sleek black-aluminum construction not only maintains a low profile on the aquarium, its design also allows it to dissipate heat away from the aquarium, lamps and components.
German-style polished reflector directs over 99% of the T5 lighting into the aquarium while a polycarbonate splash lens protects lamps. Sliding aquarium mounts adjust easily to ensure a proper fit for your aquarium. Only a single... (More)

Restarting our 20 gallon tank and needed a light to replace an ancient 18W hood. Great fit. Purchased a pair of extra bulbs, too, while I was at it. Terrific price on the fixture and the bulbs.

I couldn't believe my luck when I found this fixture.I got 2 of them covering the whole surface of my 36" planted aquarium and my plants are thanking me every day, looking better than ever. And what a service! I received the lights the second day without paying extra!

I have Current USA Sunpod with a 150 W metal halide light in a smaller tank. It has a fan making low level noise. I bought this one because it does not need a fan so my family room would not be noisier. It turns out the 108 w T5 is much brighter than 150 w metal halide. My fish and coral are very happy. I should have bought T5 for my small tank too.

This light fixture is great and at the best price around. These T5's are a huge step up from my pc's. My only complaint is that the legs dont extend out long enough for the fixture to fit on a 10 gallon aquarium. I had to improvise and use egg-crate to position the fixture on my aquarium.

I just started using this light, but so far so good! My corals took notice of the new light right away - it was like they grew instantly! This light also really brings out the brightness of my fish - it gives off a very pretty light-blue-tinted color. The fan noise is noticable, but hasn't bothered me yet. And you can't beat the PetMountain.com price! Love it so far!

I have this light, in the freshwater version, over my 20H planted tank. My tank is tall so I needed a light that would be able to penetrate deep into the substrate. This light is growing wonderful plants and I couldn't be happier. You cannot beat the price on this fixture. I love it!

I have recently started purchasing these lights for all of my tanks. The difference is phenomenal! I highly recommend them to anyone wishing to upgrade their existing lighting or buying for the first time. The colors of the fish and ornamentals are very vibrant. Another very important feature is the small profile of the light. The old lights stand up at least 4 inches or more. These are extremely sleek. Try them - you won't be disappointed.

Purchased as an upgrade from NO T5 fixture on a 20 gallon FOWLR tank. Spectrum is superb and fixture does not generate significant heat increases. Highly recommended!

I set up some frag tanks and needed HO lighting - but I had a very tight budget. I bought two of the 36" lights to replace my power compacts and the frags are growing like crazy!!! Definitely worth the money - just remember that they do not have built-in fans so make certain your other equipment does not generate a lot of heat and these lights should do the job!!
