A silencer keeps the Maxi-Jet venturi aeration device operating quietly and is protected from overheating even if it runs dry. The Aquarium Systems Maxi Jet Powerhead pump incorporates a venturi aeration device to provide optimal aeration and gas exchange in the aquarium. The included accessory kit allows you to convert the Maxi-Jet pump into a powerhead.
