This multifunction tool works very well. I got tired of getting my whole arm wet cleaning my 75 gal tank. I had a slight outbreak of green algae on the glass close to the bottom and this tool really helped me clean it quickly. The head size/shape is small enough to get close to my plants without disturbing them but big enough to clean a decent size area. I was able to put enough pressure on the tool to scrape down at the bottom pretty easy, it did flex just a wee bit but not enough not to work well. Probably would still work with even a deeper tank. The only concern would be when using the algae scraper down deep right next to the silicone in the corners .. it's a little harder to be as precise as I could using a single edge razor blade to avoid accidentally slicing the silicone. It worked I just had to go slow & be extra careful. Having the "scoop" is handy too. Can pick up debris that I can't get to with the vacuum or move some of the substrate around to making planting easier. Well worth the price. The only suggestion to make this tool even better would be to make it extendable. That way when I'm cleaning close to the top of the tank I don't hit my lights which are suspended above my tank.
