Hagen Nutrafin Nutrafin Basix Floating Gammarus Turtle Pellets Aquatic Turtle Food at Pet Mountain

When I plopped one pellet into a tank of two turtles to see if they would like the new food, both rushed forward to eye the new delicious. Filbert, the male Red-eared slider turtle, took a large chomp of the pellet. Seeing this, Bean the female Red-eared slider turtle, also took a bite of the pellet. So there they were, one turtle on each side of the pellet, gnawing. Typically, two turtles would mind sharing a pellet, so my two turtles fought for it. It was the first time I had seen my turtles fight--for anything. After the fight, I realized the reason behind it was the pellet. They loved it so much they fought for it! So this also makes me come to a conclusion to place two pellets for two turtles next time.

This food is great because it doesn't make the tank dirty even if the turtles don't eat it right away. And the turtles seem to love it!
