API T.C. Tetracycline Powder Bacterial & Fungal Aquarium Medications at Pet Mountain

I have fancy tail goldfish... it's good to have meds on hand when you need them for quick treatment.

On June 12, 2010:
API's TC TETRACYCLINE is said to be very effective. I used it as advised on packaging and it stressed out all my fish that it did not kill. I later was told that very few fish (especially corydoras) can handle a full dose of this product. But of course API does not include any precautions or alternative dosing directions. Full dose, that is it. Do not use this product at full dose unless you want stressed and burned fish and 3 inches of bubbles on the water's surface. In fact, I will not use any tetracycline in my aquarium again.

Very good product to have readily available for your fish as time is the utmost importance in treating an internal bacterial infection.

On November 7, 2009:
I was very glad to be able to find Tetracycline to treat my sick fish. The only change I would like to see is dosing directions for smaller aquariums. I had to open a packet and measure the contents, then adjust accordingly. I plan to keep this product on hand as I know I will need it again.
