Thomas Labs' Fish Flox uses dosed Ciprofloxacin - a broad spectrum, synthetic antibiotic - to combat bacterial infections common in aquarium fish.

Fish Flox is useful in controlling a number of common fish infections, including fin rot, saddleback, and black patch necrosis syndromes; skin ulcers and systemic disease; may be effective against bacteria resistant to other antibiotics.
Directions: Pre-dissolve one 250mg tablet per gallon of water in a small amount of water prior to adding to a hospital tank. Immerse for one hour. Repeat every day for 5-7 days, changing the water daily after each treatment. Increase dose for marine fish. Fish Flox effectiveness decreases in high pH (>6.9).
