First off I want to say that this product is great and my dragons love it. But I am highly disappointed with PetMountains on their change in sales on this item. I've been buying the 4.5lb bag for a long time at just over $14 a bag. Now they offer a 2lb container for $15 and no more big bags? That's a rip off! I will no longer buy my dragon food or probably much of anything else from here.

On November 5, 2010:
I use this as an addition to their live feeders and 'salads'. They seem to love it and have no problem gobbling it down. Really easy to prepare and smells pretty good. I always make sure I have some at hand!

For those finicky omnivore herps, this pellet can be very versatile. The aroma is delightfully appealing. Many delight in taking dry pellets as a snack. Others wolf it down soaked from a bowl or atop a salad. But some are cantankerous and won't eat well, no matter how hard you try to please them. For those, this product can be soaked and mashed. It can be 'massaged' onto greens, mixed into formula/jarred baby food, etc. Even my carnivores accept soaked pellets as a treat. Offered dry or wet, it makes a great gut load for insects before offering them to your pet. Nutritional, easy to use, good appetite stimulant and versatile application - who could ask for more from a product?

This is the best food I have ever used!  My two bearded dragons love it.  I even tried a more expensive brand as a treat for them, and they wouldn't touch it. 

With this food, you should only have to feed it to your lizards as a treat--not a staple.  It has all the nutrients your beardie needs:  no more worrying if you're giving it the right nutrition--though I do soak the pellets in water and dust them with Calci-dust.  This makes the pellets easier to chew and I know they're getting enough water and calcium.

By the way: when you're choosing a food for your pet, I recommend smelling it.  If it smells good to you, then chances are it will smell good to them.

Rep Cal bearded dragon food is 100% nutritionally complete! Its such a handy food source to have in your pantry cabinet at all times! I started using Rep Cal in 1998 when I purchased my very first bearded dragon hatchling. I have been using it in my breeding program ever since- I can't say enough good things about this product! I love it and my dragons love it!
