Petmate Deluxe Fresh Flow Pet Fountain Electric Dog Waterers at Pet Mountain

My cat took a little bit of time to get used to this fountain, but he loves it. This is my third Pet Mate fountain. The pump died on my first one after I let it run dry one too many times. I had it for over 2 years. My second fountain is still working, but the refill tank is missing a small piece at the bottom so I wanted a new one. I'm keeping the slightly broken fountain for parts as I need them. This is the best value fountain for the cost. This is a great way to get my kitty to drink more water. With the extra large tank I only have to fill/clean it once a week. It runs quietly too (except when you let it run dry-then it screeches) :-)

I notice that most of the 'plus' reviews for the 'Fresh Flow' fountain are from CAT owners! Could it be that PetMate should stick to marketing it's fountain to cat owners?

I bought the 'Fresh Flow' Jumbo, as I have two small Yorkies & a Golden; I should have stuck with their stainless steel water bowls, which I have returned to, after less than three months. The filters do NOT last as advertised, at most two weeks. Even with three dogs one should expect a month. The filters are not cheap and are very hard to find. The thing is a nightmare to clean and it needs it OFTEN. It has very narrow crevices and deep recesses that even my small, round dish-brush could not reach. I had to push hard with a cloth, using my fingers, not a pleasant experience. I called 'Petmate' to discuss this & was basically told (very pleasantly) that I had no reason to complain! Stainless steel bowls are great!

Our two cats love the fresh flow fountain. Suggest getting the larger one unless you are quick on the adding water thing. Already burned one out.

The PetMate Deluxe Fresh Flow Pet Fountain is just great! Our three cats love it! Our cats didn't really like to drink water out of a regular bowl. When we got this pet fountain, all of our cats were intrigued. They did the usual "kitty inspection", and it was love at first sight! Now getting them to drink water is no problem at all. Thanks for offering such a great product.

Really glad we got the "Jumbo" for all our clan...I love the newer filters and with the size we don't have to refill as often. If I were to be SUPER picky...(and I am)as the water level gets slightly lower in the bowl you can definitely hear that it needs more water... so that MAY be a good thing instead of an annoying thing lol.

I have had the Petmate fresh flow fountain for about three years now. However the pump quit working and I can not find a store that sells them. I was wondering if anyone knew of a replacement pump and where I could find it.

This is a very healthy way to provide your pets with water. The circulation keeps it clean & cool, and the cats love to drink from it!

My two boys have been using the PetMate water fountain for about 3 years now. They stay better hydrated and I feel good knowing they have fresh tasting water at all times. We have really hard water here so I usually take mine apart weekly to clean and scrub off the water deposits on the dish and to keep the motor free of debris and fur. Really Great product.

My cat Maui loves this product. I enjoy the fact that after I fill it up, I know my cat will get cold fresh water all day. This product is a great one for cats who are always anxious to get to the sink when the fresh water is running.  Fast delivery, great merchant to work with! I'm so glad to finally find the delux, larger model. I have had 2 of the smaller ones which I found locally but with more kittens/cats I need the larger water capacity. They LOVE fresh flowing water and always having to turn on the bathtub faucet isn't convenient or economical.

All of my cats love to drink out of the faucet in the bathroom. Well, with 8 cats, the faucet was running 24 hrs. a day. Once we got the "fresh flow pet fountain", our water bill dropped drastically. Our cats love it- and so do we! Don't know what we ever did without it. THANKS!

I recently purchased the Deluxe Fresh Flow pet fountain. We have a small dog and a cat. We are happy with the way it performs and our pets love it. Our cat sits at it and lets the water flow over his tongue. It is easy to keep clean and the water stays fresh. We will replace it with another one if we ever need to. We would recommend it to other pet owners.

I have had the Petmate fountain for years with populations of up to 12 cats. It cuts down on work for me and makes them very happy. Cats prefer running water and the Petmate fountain satisfies that natural urge. I am able to keep a larger supply of fresh water available before refilling.

The best part is the gentle sound of the fountain helps my elderly blind cat, Dave, (of Sam 'n Dave) find his water. He then taps the stream to make sure the water is flowing and has his drink.

This is a great product. So great that my cat lays in front of it with his arms around it and his chest halfway in the dish to drink from it! He drinks so much more when he has one of these and I don't have to keep turning on the bathwater for him. However, make sure it doesn't run out of water or the pump will burn out, and watch out because some pets like to chew on the cord. This will be my third one because of those two problems.

Excellant product. My cat gets fresh water and don't have to keep running water in bathtub every time she needs a drink. Gives me peace of mind.

I have been using the Petmate fountain for well over a year with no problems. It is very easy to add water to and relatively easy to keep clean. You do have to completely beak it down on occasion to clean the water intake on the small pump motor. The cats seem to like it and I feel better for at least doing something to the municipal water for them.

Have had a Petmate fountain for three years without a problem. The cats have loved it from the beginning. One comes running everytime she hears it being filled - watches the well fill and the water begin its descent so she gets the first drink.
Easy to maintain/clean.
Am purchasing another as the 'family' is growing.

Best investment for my cat ever! She drinks more water than ever. I love the reservoir to hold the extra water. I only need to refill every couple days; that's with sharing with two little dogs!
