Overall impression: good product for the price, great fabric used, takes up very little floor space, kitty approved. This is a really good cat tree for the price. I'm giving it 4 stars. The only reason it doesn't get 5 stars from me is that it could stand to be taller. The tiers are a bit short, so although my adult cats like it, they are not running up and down it because it's a bit difficult to navigate. They like sitting on it, but calling it a "playhouse" if you have adult cats is misleading. My kitten, on the other hand, runs and jumps on this thing with no trouble, and loves the hole on the 3rd tier. All 3 approve of the condo, although they hate when another kitty sneaks up on them while inside. What I like about this cat tree is the fabric. This one is made of jute and recycled paper, making it look very clean and modern. The fabric was the main reason I bought this cat tree, because it seemed like it would be durable and easy to clean. I've had 2 cat trees that were made with carpet. My first was cream colored - big mistake. The 2nd was brown, but that one also started looking dingy. Plus, my cats bite and pull at carpet until it looks frayed and a bit bald. My cats claw at the fabric on this cat tree because they like the feel, but it's been a month and so far they haven't done noticeable damage (a miracle, since my cats are very destructive). I think it will last well, and I love that it was so affordable. Luckily I haven't had a chance to test if it is easy to clean, but it looks like it will be.
