I ordered this after my daughter's great experience with her new cat and this product. She purchased upon advice from several of her work mates. Good news travels! You do not know how much loose under coat etc needs to be removed until you see the evidence. Cats love the experience. Better price than retain locally. It works. Wish I had known about this years earlier.

I purchased this brush because my short haired cat has a very thick coat. She sheds constantly, and I was concerned about hairballs.
The brush is terrific! After just 2 brushings, she now sheds very little and has a silky coat as a result.
She also purrs when I brush her, clearly loving it.

I decided to order from Pet Mountain on line as they were $13.00 less than Petsmart, no sales tax, and free shipping....it was a win/win/win situation. This tool is the best groomer ever invented. My cat is a long haired Maine Coon Tiger cat, and there is fur everywhere. This tool slides through her fur like a warm knife through butter. After her first brushing she looked so much better and her coat even had better colors due to all the dead fur being removed. The furminator is worth it's weight in gold. Do not hesitate on this one folks. This is really a product that lives up to it's hype.

On June 15, 2011:
I have found a stray long hair golden cat who was declawed & fixed, took him to the vet & he is now a part of our family. I don't know how long he lived outside but after I bought the Furminator & used it on him bags & bags of fur came off. He looks like a totally different cat now, his fur shines & he just purrs away when I comb him. I love it, & would recommend it to all.

This is wonderful a friend told me about this are I wouldn't have paid that much not knowing if it was good or not. Love it my animals love it. It really does clean all that lose hair off they all looked like they had lost weight so much fur came off.
