On May 25, 2012:
Living in Arizona the summer temperatures get into the hundreds every summer. Even with A/C my dog would still sit in the house and pant. The cool bed is her favorite place to be on those days when the A/C isn't enough for her. While I was filling it with water she sat next to me, waiting for me to give her the "okay". Once it was all ready, she immediately walked over and sprawled on it, letting out a big sigh. It was as if she was saying... "Thank Gawd!"

On May 18, 2011:
I ordered the cool bed III because I show and trial in some very hot environments. I have two GSDs but only purchased one cool bed because I was skeptical. After attending an agility trial I came home and ordered the second! I also set the larger one up in our bedroom because one of my dogs prefers cooler weather. Even with the a/c running she is uncomfortable in the summer months. She sleeps on it every night and it has remained nicely cool to the touch. Definitely worth the expense!

On May 17, 2011:
I purchased these beds for my two goldendoodles that are very hairy and hot in the warmer months...I did not feel like they worked at all...they were not cool to the touch and were a huge disappointment.

On December 22, 2010:
We bought this bed for our dog after the first one from a different manufacturer didn't last and started to leak. Years later, we're buying another. It's the sturdiest material and the edges are reinforced. We're only replacing it because it got so dirty. My dog jumps on it when he's excited and it stands up to his 80 pounds. I wouldn't buy another.

My dog loves it. He plops down on it after his walks.

This is the best Cool Mat on the market! It has a fabric cover bonded to the vinyl. The previous version of this mat split and leaked. This one does not! Two full grown golden retrievers snuggled up on it and shared it during the warm summer months.The fabric is a fast-drying nylon, so when it gets dirty, a soapy cloth will scrub it clean, and it's dry to use within an hour. It's a fantastic product, and worth every penny. We will never be without one.
