Our Yorkie loves to chew on this Nylabone. It keeps her busy and is good for her teeth. I'm pleased that I can order these online at Pet Mountain.

My dog went straight for this toy over his old ones when I pulled it out of the box. The texture is great and the size is perfect, but it didn't last very long. He is an aggressive chewer and the packaging did say for moderate chewers, so be warned!

On August 12, 2012:
Frenchie's are a tough breed to buy chew bones for - they are super powerful chewers but if you buy the "strong/powerful chewers" rated bones, they break their teeth. Over $1600 in dental surgery bills later...we find the Dental Chew - just enough hardness to keep them interested but with enough give to not break any more teeth - hooray! Love this chew bone, love the service at Pet Mountain - we'll be back for more!

On March 23, 2011:
This was a disappointment. The bone is not listed as edible but my 45 pound golden rescue devoured half of it in about 10 minutes. I thought it was a solid chew to clean his teeth but it is not.

It is wonderful. It works well at cleaning teeth with the bumpy texture. It is a good chew toy.

The dogs love these bones especially our new puppy. They last a long time and Pet Mountain price is much cheaper than pet store price.

NOT DURABLE AT ALL...my 6lb. yorkies chewed them (regular size bone) to bits in about 3 hours!!! Very disappointed because they really love them but, am very concerned that they actually ate some of the plastic before I got all of it away from them.

Our golden retriever LOVED this product, however was able to chew them up into a few chunks in a matter of an hour or so. He then had apparently swallowed small chunks of this "bone", and threw up all over the place the next morning. Needless to say, we probably won't be buying this again. Too bad as he seemed to really really enjoy it.

Not the relatively durable toy I was expecting. My sheepdog was tearing hunks off in ~ 5 minutes, and I had to throw it away.

All of my dogs LOVE this chew. But my bichon is an aggressive chewer and this lasted a day once he got a hold of it. The 2 schichons love it too. But they are not quite as hard on it. And my Scottie thinks it is mighty fine and it would last a couple of weeks if she didn't have to share it with her bichon brother.

On November 20, 2007:
All of the "durable" chew bones are great for my dog. She has needed dental cleanings (at $450+) every 6 months of her life until I found Nylabones. I brush her teeth, feed her only dry dog food but she just builds tartar QUICKLY. She loves Nylabones and they really buy me some time between dental visits!

My dog loves to chew these--to the exclusion of all other chew treats we've tried. But he goes through about one a day. It gets expensive!

My chihuahuas love this bone, my 7 month old puppy is obsessed with them. He would get up in the middle of the night and go downstairs to get one. However, I started noticing nubby blue bits in his poop, and when I checked online I found that these are actually meant to be non-edible. They're non-toxic, but eating three of them wasn't exactly the best thing in the world for Jake's system, probably. This wasn't clear on the packaging, as it was bundled with bones that were edible. Anyway, if your dog or puppy is a light chewer then go for it, if they chew like mad then get something that's meant to be eaten.(they love velvet booda bones too, and those are edible)

My two 6 month old pups loved these things...and they last a really long time. They also did a great job cleaning my pups teeth!
