Kong Biscuit Ball Dog Chew Toys at Pet Mountain

It needs large chunk food. The small puppy food falls right out. Iams does make large bite and I will be buying that soon. I'm sure he will love it. Actually not even sure that large chunk will fit. It may have to be a once in a while toy with a dog biscuit. He did love playing fetch with it empty though!

The ball is a well made product, but I feel that the cut-outs should be smaller so that you can insert a variety of "treats". This would be an easy correction and would make this ball a much more challenging toy for dogs.

My Weimaraner and Great Dane love this toy--I put a dog bone in it and throw it and they run after it. Then they keep throwing it and chasing it themselves. They love that it bounces. So far, it has outlasted the other toys I have tried and they have not chewed it up.....

Now that I found a treat that I can wedge tightly into Kong's "Biscuit Ball," I absolutely love this product!!!

Take a Meaty Bone dog biscuit (must be Large size) and wedge it across the center of the Biscuit Ball, through the smaller bone-shaped holes. (Those with the biscuit ball at home will know what I mean.)

The Meaty Bone dog biscuit will barely reach from one end to the other and there'll be only a tiny bit of biscuit on either end that the dog can access. Plus, it will be wedged in tightly.

My pit bull will "work" on the ball for a good long time, trying to get at the treat. She can see it, she can smell it, but it's only sticking out about a quarter inch and drives her nuts!

I could never find a ball durable enough to last more than a week with my golden retriever. She would tear all other balls to shreds. I bought her a kong ball over a month ago and it's still in excellent condition. Not only can she not demolish it; she has fallen in love with it. She takes the kong ball everywhere with her, occasionally using it as a pillow when she is finished playing. I would recommend this product to anyone. Although it is more expensive than most balls, it outlasts them and prevents you from having to go to the store to buy more every week!
