This product fits snugly on the tops of the dog food cans. It holds up well in the dishwasher. It's much better than using saran wrap every day and throwing it out, and it keeps the smell of the dog food from pervading the fridge. It doesn't blow my mind, but I can't think of a way it could be improved. It is a good product, and if it wears out eventually from daily use and continuous washings, I would buy this product again.

These work great. We use them for the dog and cat food. It makes it much nicer to keep in the fridge. We take them off the can twice a day for 2 weeks now and they seem to be holding up well.

I was sick of my fridge smelling like cat and puppy food. So now I have been using the lids for a few weeks now... I love them~ Great purchase for a very affordable price. :)

On April 14, 2007:
These do a great job of keeping the cat food covered between feedings. Before trying them, I'd use Ziploc bags to keep the 'fridge from smelling like cat food - now, I just toss these instead. They can be re-used indefinitely and don't produce unneccessary waste.

The hole in the tab keeps them from flying around in the dishwasher - good design.
