I have used this brush on my collies for many years; it's the best brush I've
ever found. The best way to handle tangles is to not allow them to happen.
If they do, do not try to remove them with a brush, all you are doing is pulling
the hair out.

I have used this brush on my collies for many years and it works great!!!
Requires parting the hair and brushing in sections/rows. Try to avoid getting
mats and tangles but if you do, work them out with your fingers before
brushing to avoid pulling the pet's hair.
Brushing well before bathing can help keep the hair from tangling and drying
after bathing also helps.

On April 13, 2011:
Don't bother - did not work as promised. Did not help to untangle my cat's fur.
