On December 23, 2012: I currently have 6 of these and have used them daily for 8 yrs in my puppy nursery ( I am a Breeder ) they have held up excellent to numerous puppies. I have tried others and they were more costly and weren't nearly as good as these. They do come in 8 pieces but work GREAT!!! I like the fact they come apart for soaking in the sink when needed. My puppies hardly ever rip a pad out of these but they would tear them out of the others I tried over and over again. Its well worth the extra minute it takes to change the pad instead the ones with a hinged lid that don't hold the pads firmly in place. I recommend this type only to my customers.

Way too flimsy!!
By Mary from Chicago, IL
On January 19, 2012: I purchased 2 of these for my Yorkie so she wouldn't have to go outdoors in inclement weather. I'd never buy them again. They fall apart each time I try to change pads & have to be reassembled. The only good thing is that she does use them!

Made of plastic
By Dobree from Everett, WA
On March 21, 2011: The description doesn't say what this is made of but I will tell you it is made of flimsy plastic. Not very sturdy and takes too long to re-assemble when you need to change the pad out. Don't bother purchasing this. To ship it back costs more than I paid for the item. Will try to sell it on Craig's List.
