We were very anxious to receive our carrier for our new baby. It was larger than I expected, which is okay, but I am very disappointed in the gate latches. They are made of a rather flimsy plastic that even bends, and is difficult to direct into the locking holes. These really ought to be metal or at least a sturdier plastic. I would have gladly paid extra. I leave the crate open sometimes to encourage my pup to enter on his own. He discovered the flimsy latches and now wants to chew them. I was going to return the carrier, but the cost would have been ridiculous. I am going to donate it to an animal rescue group. I will not order online for this sort of thing again. It's not worth the shipping $$$ and return hassles. Too bad--I would rather give business to you instead of PetSmart and the like. The representative I spoke to about returns was pleasant and polite. He just didn't have any "good news" for me. The grooming scissors I bought are fine. Thanks, JS
