Pro: It is easy to use. Very quiet. And the safety cap is a good idea. Con: When trimming if you put a little bit of pressure it will stop turning. Slightly long to handle with one hand. Overall it is a good product and a good idea.

the peticure elite works great with variable speeds,its like a cordless dremal tool with a special head for grinding nails..I had the cheap drug store one (pedi paws) and that one didnt work at all,,just no power to it...my dog is 25 # and this one works great with lots of power to spare..

My Girlfriend has 4dogs from a rescue...Great Safe and effective. She wore it out. Battery no longer holds a charge and cant find a replacement battery.

I have a Papillon, a hairy Chihuahua and a Pit-Bull. I worked great and really fast for the small guys, but when it came to the pit - I had to charge the battery about 3 times just to do a full session on all 4 paws. The charger seems to loose power kind of fast, and If you follow the instructions to only charge it for 3 hours, and only spend a small amount of time on each nail - it really takes awhile. But - all in all - I did like the tool - it didn't annoy the dogs at all (you know how small dogs can be) - and it did the job. All Pits has unusually strong nails and it did the job - took awhile but it was finally done.

works great but the built in battery would not hold a charge after about 8 months and since the battery is not replaceable the tool is now useless.
