Got a new kitty who insisted on drinking out of the toilet or faucet. She loves the new Drinkwell Platinum! Worth every penny - and the price was great from Pet Mountain!

I had the smaller one and it worked great until I broke it, so i got the bigger one. It is great, my pets love it and i do not have to refill it every day. I love the container that you can remove and fill, makes life a little easier. I had bought a different brand before this one and my cats were scared of it, to bulky. Cheaper is not always better.

We have two cats and they both love the Drinkwell Fountain. We have had the fountain for more than a year. It is quiet and reliable. One cat used the fountain the first day and the other cat began drinking from it on day four. They have both at least doubled the amount of water they used to drink from their water bowl. I give this product an A!

Before I bought this fountain, my darn cat would always follow us into the bathroom and jump up onto the tub, and meow for water, he wouldn't touch his traditional water bowl next to the food, he simply likes running water from the faucet... Within minutes, I had the filter installed and the water tank full and there happens to be an outlet near the food/water location, that is important to remember this thing plugs in! and voila, with a little praise, and wow factor, and making like I wasn't looking, the cat was on this thing like catnip! He loves it... he drinks from it often, sometimes from the flowing well, and sometimes from the water fountain that flows down... there is a feature whereby you can adjust the flow, max, min, whatever works... we keep it in the middle and its nice and quiet... just a tad bit of running water sound every now and then... and to be honest, I cant believe how much my cat (Tiki) drinks from it... he is a lean 20 lbs cat, all muscle, and I feel bad like he maybe didnt get enough water in his diet before from just the bowl and the occasional times we would turn the faucet on for him, because I cant believe how much water he drinks from this... of course I am sure there is a certain amount of evaporation, but I fill it every other day or so... long story short GOOD INVESTMENT!!!

On December 31, 2011:
My three cats are captivated by running water so this seemed to be a great way to get them to drink more. And they accepted it as their water source within a half hour. It's quiet, doesn't splash, sets up in minutes, and gives the cats a new focus for meditation! They stare at it, contemplating how their water bowl turned into an indoor running creek. Use only distilled/filtered water or it will clog with lime scale.

On December 31, 2011:
This purchase was an upgrade from the original Drinkwell Pet Fountain and I have been very pleased with the improvements that have been made. This fountain holds plenty of water and is easy to clean. And I love the low voltage and quick disconnect on the power connection to the pump motor. The service I received from Pet Mountain was excellent!

On November 4, 2011:
My vet recommended that I get a "fountain" for my cat since he has urinary crystals and needs more water intake. So I ordered this and all my cats are drinking more. My only dislike of this so far is that when you fill the tank you have to be very quick when placing it back since the valve does not close and you will spill a little. That could be improved to work like the humidifiers.

The Platinum Drinkwell Waterer is a great item. My pets drink twice as much as before. The cats like to put their paws in the flow. My only problem is with the pump. My last waterer only lasted a year. Th pump broke and I can't find anywhere to find a replacement. But I got a great price at petmountain.
I highly recommend this product, just stay on top of your maintenance of the pump.

I just received the Drinkwell water fountain a week ago. It was very easy to assemble and fill. The pump runs very quietly and the water stays nice and cool. I have one small dog and two cats. They all learned how to drink from the fountain that same afternoon. My pets are all very happy enjoying their "running" water. No more cat tracks around the kitchen sink! Thanks for a great product. We are all pleased.

On January 5, 2011:
We have a large pride of cats and one dog and they all love this water dish... the cats are drinking more water, which is better for them as they get older. The moving water really attracts their attention and is very entertaining. The water dish takes a little time to clean but it is worth the effort.

I am so thrilled with this new Drinkwell Premium 168oz water fountain!!! I have purchased several of the smaller Drinkwell fountains in the past and loved them too...but they ended up being just a little small for our household of 7 cats.....and the smaller versions needed constant cleaning and the plastic coatings got worn down by the minerals in the water. Finally...the little motors just gave out after about a year...each time. The new Premium model is sleeker...quieter...easier to clean AND I also bought the set of special sized cleaning brushes that are suggested for the product. The reservoir holds 168 total ounces of water. Cleaning once a week is easy and...even taking the motor assembly apart for cleaning is easy too. The waterfall of constantly moving water is steady, quiet and of course, as with all Drinkwell products...variable in flow adjustment. The water retention trough-bowl is wide and easy for even my larger 14 pound cats to use...I've seen 2 of them drinking at the same time. My one cat likes to let the water run over his head. What a nut-ball! So....great job on this product. One other thing I wanted to add....I had never even heard of Petmountain.com but found you when I did an internet search for pet drinking fountains. I was amazed that your prices totally beat Petco.com and Petsmart.com plus others ...AND....even at Christmas time....my order was delivered regular delivery....within about 5 days of my online purchase!! I saved about 20-30 dollars over Petco and Petsmart which usually get my business...AND everything I bought was SHIPPED FOR FREE!!!! DOESN'T GET ANY BETTER THAN THIS FOR PRODUCT PURCHASING. I'll be back for more! Thanks!
