First off, I have to give a shout out to the super fast shipping! Wow! I just ripped through the package and immediately had the leash on my Iguana. He was used to having the rope harness/leash, but I can tell he's just so much more comfortable in this leather harness. Plus, he's a wiggler, and he can't just puff up and squirm out of this. I feel so much safer with this leash. Thank you Pet Mountain!

On December 31, 2011:
We have a beautiful 9 month old beardie. He is active and we have a lot of hiding places in our house so we needed some form of restraint for when we have him out of his tank. This leash fit the bill perfectly. He balked at first, but because it means he is going to be out and not held the whole time he gets excited to see it. He thinks he is completely free when he has it on because he basically can go where he likes, and I feel safe letting him explore because he can't get lost. I did a lot of research before purchasing this leash and it gets high ratings at almost all of the beardie sites. Because it doesn't mention what size would be best for a bearded dragon on this site, I needed to look for the information elsewhere. If this is the purpose of your purchase, and your dragon is 6 months old or more, get a medium. It is adjustable and you can custom fit your beardie. Love it!

The harness we bought for our Iguana makes him have more freedom and gives me comfort that he is safe and won't run off and get lost or eaten by the cat while he is little. Great product.

First off, I would like to say that this *is* a handy product. It's easy to get on, easy to get off, and it does the job... as long as you don't have a very strong or forceful reptile to walk. However, the sizing is WAY off, IMO. I had originally bought a couple of the size X-Small for our beardies, as the package labeled that as being the appropriate size for them. Wrong. I took one look at them and KNEW they weren't going to fit. So I went ahead and returned those, and ordered a couple of the size Mediums... keep in mind that the Mediums are labeled for IGUANAS. When I received them and put them on our beardies, I was much more pleased. It's still a slightly tight fit one on of our little girls (as she's really not all that "little"... she's quite the hefty one), but the soft leather will stretch out quickly. Overall, I'd say this was a handy product for smaller reptiles... so long as you order the much larger size.

My gecko does not mind wearing this leash at all and I love to let it explore safely.

I currently have one of these things and I must say that it works absolutely great.

We take our lizard everywhere we go and he enjoys his harness. He never fights when we put it on him because he's comfortable walking around wearing it.

this is awesome for anything from bearded dragons to iguanas to skinks!
