PetSafe Healthy Pet Water Station Gravity Dog Waterers at Pet Mountain

On December 21, 2012:
We have 3 bulldogs and we were constantly filling their water dish. This product is great for the multiple pet family as you only have to fill it up every few days. The only complaint that I have was when we first set it up the bowl filled up to much and when one of our dogs went to get a drink the water got all over. But that only happened the first time. Works great now!

On July 20, 2012:
We wanted a better and more sanitary way to provide water for our dogs. This product definitely fits the bill. It's easy to use and maintain. One of our dogs was a bit spooked at first when the bowl refilled itself after drinking but is now used to it. They really love having the fresh water and we love not having to replace our Britta filters so often. Great product!!!

On June 27, 2012:
In researching nasal sores my dog had developed, I found that allergies to plastic bowls may be the cause. My many pets free-feed, and I've never seen bulk feeders with non-plastic bowls. Online, I found these at Petmountain, and bought both the large size for my dogs, and small for my cats. In two weeks, the sores on my dog's nose have disappeared. The feeder/waterers are well-designed and easy to fill and keep clean. My order arrived quickly, and the price was very reasonable. I would highly recommend them and Petmountain!

The Healthy pet water station looks very nice but after filling it with the water and 20 mins later it was all over my floor, at first I thought I may have put it together wrong or the filter wasn't in right but same thing happened the second time, and I filled it the 3rd time and watched it over my sink and the water just keep slowly running over, I would not purchase this product.

We have 3 dogs and this has simplified my life and given my babies abundant water. Love the stainless steel pan ....provides easy and sanitary clean up. Half the price of the pet store. On March 2, 2012:
This watering system is just what we needed for our 2 dogs. I filled it 8 days ago and it still has water from my miniature schnauzer and small beagle. Considering the system is outdoors where it is probably more susceptible to evaporation, I am impressed with its functionality. It is one of many units I looked at but was sold on the ability to remove the stainless bowl for cleaning as occasionally leaves fall into the drinking bowl. I didn't want to have to turn the entire unit upside down to clean it. This particular unit has a nice handle on top that can be twisted to release then you simply take out the water basin, clean, then twist water holding portion back on. Easy, breezy!!!!

On December 7, 2011:
With 4 Labs, I was constantly filling the old water bowl several times a day. With this new waterer, I only fill it every 2 days. Filling it up couldn't be easier, and it doesn't leak or drip while you're carrying it back to the base. I've filled it 4 times now and there's no mildew or slime buildup. Everything is easily washable in the dishwasher. I do recommend getting a water mat to put underneath since the dogs make quite a splash.

On November 25, 2011:
This replaced a gravity type water bowl that was heavy and difficult to refill. This one is very simple. It has a twist off cap where the water is refilled. After twisting back on the cap, you turn it over and carry it by a handle on the top. You just need to place it back on the bowl and the water flows into the bowl. The stainless steel bowl is much easier to clean than plastic.

I first bought a large pet watering station to provide a source of water for several feral cats I feed on a daily basis. I liked it so well, I then bought a small pet watering station for my inside cats. In each case, the products do an outstanding job and I'd recommend these items to anyone who wants the best for our animal friends.

I've got both, the water station and the food station in medium size. I'm pleased with this product because of the quality. My two cats use it frequently and it's easy to keep it clean. 100 % as described and fast shipped. I love it and definitely recommend it.

Cats love the smaller one and our Dogs do too...All are enjoying water and drinking more now that it is filtered.

I have a 120lb Presa Canario and although I wish the bowl was a little bigger, she has no problems getting water. She has jowls and because the size of the bowl is a little smaller than necessary for her some of the water squirts out her cheeks and onto the floor around the bowl so if you have a bigger dog with that issue, know you will be down there with a few paper towels from time to time. I had a cheaper brand water station a few years ago with another dog where you had to fill the container and then quickly flip it over and fit it into the bowl to keep water from splashing all over the place like the old gravity fed office water coolers. This design is MUCH better. You can fill the container and with the screw-on dispenser it holds the water back until it makes contact with the back of the bowl and only then it allows the water to flow so you can hold a full container down indefinitely and no water comes out until it is touching the base. The stainless bowl liner is also a great idea, this way you can just pop the water container off, set aside (no dripping, as I said in the previous paragraph) and then clean just the stainless bowl out independently when you notice a lot of slobber in there. Much better than cleaning the whole base/bowl combination. I do wish you could pour water in from the top though while it was still on the base when you noticed water was low. It would make it a lot easier than taking the whole thing off and trying to fit it under the kitchen faucet. Maybe in the next design! Pet Mountain had the BEST PRICE on this product, I looked around. It took a little longer than I expected to get it but when it came it was really well packaged. For the money, I think this is a pretty good water station. You can pay a little less for something similar but in my opinion, you should save yourself the hassle of the cheaper ones. If you are on the fence, spend a little more and get this one.
