Merrick Merrick Hungry Dog Super Value Pack Meaty Dog Treats at Pet Mountain

Each treat is very large, about size of large bagel...dog plays with them for several days before consuming.

I don't know if I just got a bad bag or not but I feel like this stuff is all scraps and little chunks that they couldn't sell any other way. The item is listed as a Super Value but this stuff is garbage. I don't think I will take the risk of buying another bag. Not even a regular size texas toothpick, just nubs and chunks of antlers, two big puffy buffalo hide pieces, two small G.I. bones, and five or six ear pieces, maybe one whole ear. Not one flossy, or tendon, no taffy, nothing of value except the two small bones that I can buy for $1.75 a piece.

My dogs love these treats and I enjoy the fact that it's a surprise in every bag, so they get lots of different treats to keep them happy.

Our dogs like these various body parts, but they should never eat them indoors. The smell is literally frightening: like a combination of the worst features of manure and rotting corpses. We like to dispense chewies for the dogs to enjoy in the living room while we enjoy our evening cocktail and these definitely won't do for that application.

I run a dachshund rescue and all of my guys love these treats. They are large but that doesn't seem to be a deterrent to my approx 7 to 20 lb dogs. They chew them down to nothing in no time. Also every bag contains 2 large bones at the bottom. My gang like these so much that one of my males goes thru the house at night to find one and bring it into bed with him. Before I found PeT Mountain I was paying $12 bag for these locally so to me these are a really good deal!!

Pros: mixed bag of first-quality treats (they just didn't pass muster at Merrick for inclusion in separately bagged products due to size or shape) provides range of tasties for your pooch. Cons: well, it's a mixed bag, and occasionally there's more or less of some goodie that Fido likes or doesn't.

First I have to say this is an amazing price for the value. I cannot buy this here locally at this price, so you have my business with this one! Second....I have 2 pit bulls who absolutely adore the variety in this bag of treats. Nothing in this bag is bad for such voracious chewers as my girls. When they see me reaching their eyes glow with anticipation. This is a winner!

We have 4 yorkies....and most of the treats in the 2 bags we purchased were HUGE...way too big for our dogs! And the majority of the treats were plain rawhide and hooves! It would be a better deal for large dogs!

Pet Mountain has the best buy around on the Hungry Dog bag, and for my dogs this is a great find on treats they love. I paid twice as much for one to check it out , and it was like going on a treasure hunt! There are all sorts of treats and bones and hooves and I have even found several Flossies in bags. The last bag I bought from Pet Mountain had two Flossies in it and that is worth the price of the bag to me because my boys love them and they are pricey at the store where I buy them. Great price, great product.
