FiberCore Blue ECO Bedding for Small Pets Paper Pet Bedding at Pet Mountain

We have four rats in a decent-sized cage. We've been using CareFresh (competing product) for about a year, but our rat breeder told us about Eco Bedding and we decided to give it a try. This bedding is fantastic. Not only does it control odors as well or better than CareFresh, but we noticed within two days of use one of our rats (who has chronic respiratory issues) sounded like she was breathing a lot better and within five days her breathing is totally clear again! We had no idea that simply changing the bedding could make such a difference. Evidently CareFresh has dust levels that can aggravate the lungs of sensitive rats. Our rats also LOVE to play in this bedding. Over a few days, they've mounded it up into a big ball and love to dive into it. It's good for entertainment value as well as cage hygiene. It's also got a nice blue color (they have pink and "brown" available as well). We have a bag of the brown as well, and while we haven't opened it yet we assume it would do equally well. This stuff is great and we're hooked.
