Tetra Pond Algae Control for Green Water & String Algae Pond Algae Control at Pet Mountain

I use more than they recommend but it keeps algae off my waterfall and it's the first product I've found to do that.

On March 27, 2010:
Used it just as the label instructed, now the algae is twice as large and looking very healthy. It was supposed to kill it, not fertilize it!

We live in South Dakota and have had our pond for 3 years. Every year the water is crystal clear in the spring when the snow melts, but as the weather warms the water starts to turn green. Many times it got so cloudy that we were unable to even see the fish. We've added bacteria, tried numerous products even considered putting in a UV filter. Then we tried Tetra Pond Algae Control. This is the best product we've found. Within just a couple of days, the water clears up dramatically. After the recommended three doses the water looks great.We had previously bought Tetra pond Algae control from Menards, but in doing a search on the internet, I found Pet Mountain and the cost is 1/3 the price we had been paying. Our pond is large (about 7500 gallons) so having the ability to buy in larger quantities is great. The delivery was quick also. We highly recommend this product.

On July 21, 2007:
I used Tetra Pond algae control earlier this summer. We have had extremely high temperatures for this time of year and my pond "bloomed" early. Using your product has cleared the algae and the water. I now use it as a maintenance every other week to control algae growth. Our pond now is beautiful again and we can see our Koi.

This product does a very good job controlling the algae. I pour it onto the water streams cascading from my water fountain- this way the product is thoroughly mix.
