I used the 150 watt to replace a 100 watt red heat lamp and 70 watt spot lamp. The 55 gallon tank was instantly brighter and the temperature increased by 10 degrees. Jack, our 5 month Bearded Dragon, became more active and started chasing some crickets that were left over from his last feeding. Great product, more heat and light and less total wattage!

My reptiles love Zoo Med basking light bulbs. I keep light on them at least 12 hours a day. They love to climb on their branches and soak in the light rays.

I use these heat lamp-emitters in a series of 2 or 3 bulbs controlled by a thermostat. They work well. Having more than one gives me a safety factor in case one goes out. They are reasonably priced as well. Highly Recommended. Great product for keeping small animals warm.

I searched at pet stores and department stores for UVA light bulbs for our turtle. I was not able to find them at department stores, but pet stores have them...for $40-50 per light bulb. I got the same good quality light bulb made especially for reptiles at a very low price. Our turtle is happy to sun herself beneath the UVA light and we love the price. We did not want to spend a fortune on light bulbs. We will definitely shop PetMountain in the future for our other turtle supplies.
