Coralife Power Center Day-Night Timer or Wave-Maker Timer Aquarium Power Strips & Timers at Pet Mountain

On December 30, 2010:
The unit and directions are complicated and not easily understood. The initial setup was frustrating. It took a few trial's and error's to get everything working like I wanted. Once it's setup though, it's quite nice.

On December 15, 2010:
I use the day spots for the light and air pump which switches to the moonlight LEDs (True Luman LEDs bought on this site) and my always on spots controls the heater and filter. I could get another power strip with 2 timers, but this product makes it simple

My Coralife power strip did not work after I had it for about 3 months. Contacted the company and they kindly sent a replacement which worked for a couple months and it also stopped working. I did not contact them again. My model had two timers not just the one timer. Be careful, if you are gone and you depend on the timer starting something there is a very good chance it will not!

On February 22, 2010:
I wanted to say it was a good product but mine did not work properly out of the box. I had purchased it months ahead of time for a new set up so it was way to much time to be able to return to Pet Mountain due to defect. Also the cost is so low on the item it is not worth sending in to Coralife for repair due to shipping costs. So I will just use it a a power strip. The problem with my unit was the timer. It is a simple mechanical shut off system based on small plastic levers to trip the lights on and off. Mine would trigger on just fine but would shut off at where the next plastic lever would be, even though it was not set. I will not buy another timer with this set up again. Next time I will get a digital unit. I have had far less problems with these.

Works perfectly. Really easy to use. My only complaint is that there are only 2 sets of 2 outlets on the timer. I really could have used 3 outlets for the daytime side. But that's my fault for not looking into it before I bought it

This is a must buy when you need to turn on and off lights. I use this for my beardies and its a life saver. I don't have to worry about waking up and turning on the lights and forgetting at night to turn them off.  Just set a time when you need the lights on and off and that's it, very simple. Love this item.

This is a nice heavy duty power strip with a timer. This was the best price that I could find for a power strip of this quality.

I can't believe the prices on lighting. I have looked all over the internet and in all the local stores. Your prices were much better for the same brand names I could get any where else. That is awsome. I am glad I ran across this site!!

If you dont have a time to change the lamps during night and day time just buy this timer it is perfect.
