I have had this product plugged in for over a week and everything seems to be working as advertised. The unit was easy to program and settings are saved in the event of a power failure. The light sensor is located on the control unit, which they recommend stays outside of high humidity environments, but placing it outside the aquarium glass has still allowed the "day" time to be controlled by my overhead fluorescent lighting.

On October 15, 2011:
I'm using the Hygrotherm for my colony of Blaberus fusca. I have found it very helpful, and has made automating things much easier. I wish they would have made it possible to set in a range for humidity though. Also, it doesn't respond as fast as ideal, as the humidity can drop double digits below where set before it turns on, or go double digits above the setting before turning off. I've tried to compensate by having the Reptifogger at the lowest setting, but it's still an issue.
