I have two small Shih Tzus. On really rainy days we can't go on our 4 mile walks so I needed something fun for them to play with and still get enough exercise. When it arrived I thought the doughnut shaped ball was going to be way too big for them and at first it was. The first few times they grabbed the ball the wrong way and it covered their entire face and they couldn't see to bring it back to me. It only took a few times and they both figured out how to grab it another way so that it didn't cover their eyes. They are both addicted to this toy. If they even sense I'm going to go get it they are at my side so fast and whining for me to hurry up and start playing. I haven't washed the ball yet but it looks like it should be able to go through the washer on gentle cycle. I highly recommend this toy and Casey and Nikki give it 4 paws up!

My 2 year old Lab loves this toy!!! It is called an indoor play toy, but we found it to be perfect outside in our small backyard. We get a 40-50 foot launch. Our Lab prefers catching the doughnut shape. And I have machine washed it 20 times and looks brand new.
