My bigger mystery snails like them. They are a bit hard, but it makes them hold their shape in the water better. Also makes uneaten bits easy to remove. Further, it makes it easy for the snails to grip them with their feet as they like to feed this way too. I wouldn't give them to little baby snails, because it might take too long to soften up for them and they are hard to break into pieces by hand. I will continue to include these in my inverts diet because unlike many other foods, these don't contain copper or copper derivatives like Copper proteinate or worse, copper sulfate.

On June 3, 2012:
I have guppys, playcos ,catfish and shrimp and they all eat them quickly. I recommend this product.

On July 25, 2010:
Our Pleco's love these discs and begin eating them immediately. Never any leftovers! Pleco's show good growth and are very robust & healthy.
