I had three feeders, then ordered this one. The hummers emptied it as fast as I filled it. So easy to fill. Then I ordered another. Now all fourteen hummers can eat and not run out so quickly.

The Perky Pets 30oz. hummingbird feeder, model 209, is the best hummingbird feeder on the planet! My wife and I loved this feeder because all the hummingbirds love it!!! The perch this unit provides is ideal to allow the hummingbirds to rest as the nip the nectar and watching the hummingbirds move from feeding hole to feeding hole is wonderful! This is the most "solid" feeder we have ever owned. The container is glass and we love it!

With a myriad of options, the 30 oz glass feeder is by far our favorite. You do need a bottle brush to keep it clean and that is easy. This is the most durable and by far the easiest of the feeders to work with, refill, etc.

We bought these hummingbird feeders and let them off gas for a year and then bring them out for them to enjoy! They thank us by flying around us. You should see them in August--we have counted 32 hummingbirds around one feeder. This is a LONG LASTING product.

I have 6 to 8 of your 30 oz feeders "depending of the time of year it is" hanging outside my Picture Window. I have to fill them once a day. Sometimes I have to top them off before the next morning. The Orioles Feed from them also. I remove every other flower for them and put them back on when they leave for warmer climate. The Bees usually don`t show up until after the Orioles leave. The only drawback is that I have to clean the window frequently. Other then that , " It is like having a large Aquarium " A lot of times I have as many as 12 to 14 Hummers on one feeder times 8, and more birds are flying in a holding pattern trying to get in. It is amazing to watch. Thank you for the 30 oz Feeders.

I ordered two replacement feeders. When the order arrived I had everything except a top to the second feeder. To my surprise there was no problem in getting the order completed. One call and the part was immediately shipped to me.

I just received a perky pet 30 oz hummingbird feeder in the mail. There are no instructions on making sugar water or how to use it. Does the feeder hang or sit on something?

The birds love these feeders. We bunch 8-12 together in 3 places around the house. At twilight or "Buzz Time" we count the birds waiting for a perch. There is enough room on the base for birds to share a flower! We estimate 1/3 more than we count at ~3-400. This feeder does the trick. We only have to fill ½ of them every day. We have all 4 local types; Broadtails, Calliope, Black Chins, and Rufus.

The perch ring Part 445) dries out and breaks easily. I have bought 4 feeders and have had the same problem.

Every year beginning in early to mid March we have droves of Hummers at our many Perky Pet feeders. We LOVE the big 30 oz feeder- it lasts more than 2 days! Great Product

I can't find any other hummingbird feeder that will do when my hummers come in droves. Where other feeders are out of food within one day, this one can go two or three. I like the durable glass canister. The feeder is easy to clean with the Perky Pet "mop". But most importantly... my hummingbirds love it! I am getting extras for the baby hummers now coming in.

My experience with these PP feeders is there can be no finer ... and with the fortune of finding a distributor as Pet Mountain I can have as many I need. You see, most places do not carry the 30oz. The hummingbirds just love them and since nectar is not an endless supply, the larger the better. Here where I live you can have as many as 20 hummers waiting to quench their little thirst and this Perky Pet feeder's size and color makes for an easy target. If you ever want to bring them from far and wide, this is the best one in my opinion .. so much so, that I am in need of two more. Definitely the one to go with !!

On August 30, 2007:
These hummer feeders are the best. We have a cabin in the mountains and have tons of hummers. We have had our cabin since 1987 and this will be our third feeder. Because we have it sitting on the deck (which is quite high off the ground) the first two got knocked off by the squirrels and broke. So we are replacing it with a 3rd. We absolutely love them. It gives lots of space for hummers to eat.

On August 29, 2007:
I keep having to replenish the sugar so often on my 5 other 16 oz feeders, I've started replacing them with the 30 oz, and I see some of the birds like the newer feeder better. The only bad part is with all plastic's, the sun gets them in time, and I've had 2 go through a bad storm and get moving and bounce against the upright support and break the perch's.

After purchasing 2 of these larger hummingbird feeders - my backyard is in a hummingbird frenzy. I now have 5 feeders in active & plan to add more. I have a large shaded fountain where they drink/bathe & lots of foilage. We love to sit outside & watch their antics. I only purchase Perky Pet feeders because of their unique drip-free spouts & the hummers love the perches. Thanks!

Excellent design and huge capacity. The birds can rest while feeding and wasps cannot get inside. I have 4 of these and plan to buy more because I can have as many as 100 birds feeding at one time!! It is not a "fancy" feeder, but the birds really like it.

Most folks can probably get by with a much smaller feeder, but if you have a hard time keeping smaller feeders full for hoards of hummers, this may be your answer. I've used these as well as other models. I like the glass bottle, it won't fade like plastic. The base can be somewhat difficult to clean due to all the nooks and crannies, but if you practice preventive maintenance, including changing sugar water every few days when it is hot outside, you shouldn't have problems. I also wish Perky Pet would bring back red flowers--the yellow ones tend to attract bees and wasps. The flowers are replaceable, which is good, but if you have smart or persistent orioles or squirrels, you may lose some.

We have had two Perky Pet Hummingbird feeders for years and just love them! We put them out in late April and they're in constant feeding until late July. They are easy to fill and keep clean. I've been using this model for about 10 years ever since my mother-in-law introduced me to them. They are very durable, have a large capacity, and allow the most simultaneous feeding birds. I like them because, during the heavy feeding part of summer, I can fill them up and not worry about running low for a week or more. After a few seasons the yellow flowers crack, but they sell replacements. Just be SURE to mount these securely, as they WILL break and make a huge mess if they fall on a hard surface!

Have used perky pet 30 ounce feeders for 8 plus years and have found them to be ideal for the large number of RTHB's I have each year. Ordered 4 more from Pet Mountain, the six I have are not able to handle the hoard. They are also very durable. Pet Mountain, best price I found on the internet. Thanks for the service Jack
