Ocean Star International Smooth Bark Tree Stump Ornament Artificial Wood & Vines at Pet Mountain

My cichlids love this ornament and so do I. It looks great as a center piece and I think it has a very natural look. I put a couple small plants under it and my cichlids love to swim throughout it and it looks super natural with the plants under it. Overall I am really happy with this product and would recommend it for any tank under 100 gallons.

This was cheaper than anywhere else. I ordered the Lg, wish it was a little bigger but my Piranhas made this their home. It looks amazing in my tank! It was packaged very well. I would highly recommend this product to anyone :-)

I'm really happy with this purchase! It looks great in my tank and is very realistic. The fish love hiding among the roots. The only reason I don't give it 5 stars is because it breaks really easily. It came with a broken root but it was really easy to hide so it doesn't really matter. Great buy!

Having a 55 gal. TALL, I decided to utilize this particular decoration to enhance the realistic view of my tetras, as well as rasboras in their natural habitat setting.. They all LOVE it since it has plenty of roots for them to hide in, as well as giving the aquarium a very realistic feel for their South American habitat. These decorations are very realistic in appearance and have the "feel and look" of a natural tree root system. I am very pleased with this purchase. I also purchased the large as well as the medium sized ones for even a more realistic setting.

It's X-large, but it's not that big. I wish it's 20% bigger at least for my 150 gal tank. It's really nice with details and all. It came in a nice box, but one of the roof got broke off, but I glued it back with super glue.

Looks great in the tank and I don’t have to mess with real wood staining the water for months. Fish are always swimming inside and under the branches make nice structure for tank. Only complaint is it too fragile and 2 small twig tips broke from the stump while removing from box, no issue once in Tank. Shipping packaging was perfect just be careful unpacking. I have this in a 46 gal. tank, My fish love it, my large Feather fin catfish has taken up residence under the roots, while the other fish swim in and out of the trunk , It looks so natural. It arrived packed in Styrofoam and packed nicely...

This product is the absolute best looking artificial driftwood I have ever seen. Order something that is bigger than what you think you need, as the product doesn't look as big as it measures.

I don't usually use artificial decorations in my tanks, but I decided to try this out and see how it went. My one big complaint is that the inside of the structure is maroon. The outside is made to look like real wood, but through the holes in the sides and top you can see the color of the resin/plastic it is molded out of. Probably wont buy another, but if positioned right it looks pretty natural.

I like it - cool looking "treestump" - not an actual treestump or driftwood - it's heavy and dense - maybe dense plastic? I like it - no regrets - just know that it's not actually wood.

This stump decoration looks great in my African Cichlid tank! It is a bit smaller than I expected, but it looks so realistic, I don't mind at all!

Arrived today and looks like a great hidey-hole for the fish. It's the only un-real item in my tank, but it fits right in with the real driftwood.

I bought the large OSI stump for my 100 gallon tank and am very pleased. I planned to stand it up in the aquarium, but it looks better laying on its side. It sinks great without any anchors. It is not quite big enough for a centerpiece in my 100 gallon tank, but looks great and is very realistic.

On April 11, 2010:
The first one arrived, and several of the roots had broken off in shipment. Contacted Pet Mountain and they immediately shipped another one. This one arrived with only one root broken off, so I was able to put it in the tank without it being too noticeable. I have it in a 75 gallon tank with African Chiclids. It looks great, and the fish love it. Only giving it 4 stars because of how easily it breaks.

Decided to purchase the small trunk as a complement to the large one already in tank. I love these pieces. They are very realistic looking and offer great hide holes for my cichlids and rainbow shark. Thanks for a great product!

Product arrived with branch broken but the fish didn't care. They love it for hiding and sleeping.
