The Nova Extreme Pro combines the best in both design and functionality, making it a great addition to any aquarium. The sleek black-aluminum construction not only maintains a low profile on the aquarium, its design also allows it to dissipate heat away from the aquarium, lamps and components. Individual polished reflectors coupled with highly efficient electronic ballasts maximize the light output and intensity of the SlimPaq T5 HO lamps.
* Individually contoured reflectors for maximum light intensity
* Cool running, performance-driven electronic ballasts
* Fan-cooled for superior color spectrum, output and lifespan
* Independent controls for dawn/dusk applications
SlimPaq high output T5 lamps offer a quantum leap in lamp performance, with more than 50% higher output compared to an ordinary T5, T8 or T12 fluorescent systems, and longer lifespan. Using our proprietary blend of tri-phosphors, the high levels produce stunning color rendition and penetrating intensity. Includes splash lens and docking mounts.
Each fixture is 12" wide x 4.25" tall.

Great ballast for the money. Unmatched. Had some problems with the stock lights, but Pet Mountain was great in getting them replaced very quickly. Overall with the Current product line, there seem to be some QC issues, but they are always quick to resolve and help you troubleshoot the problem. Don't let the QC issues deter you from getting a quality product.

This light is one of the best lighting system out there. My corals are just loving it along with my fish. My aquarium never looked better. I highly recommend this lighting system over the 4 bulbs.

Purchased on Oct 20th, worked great. Corals had to get use to the new light but nothing surprising. Then suddenly two sockets stopped working completely about 3 weeks ago right around xmas. Contacted Current at this point and they are giving me an RMA or a replacement ballast for the issue. Hope to have more on that in the coming weeks after I receive that part or full RMA

The light is much brighter then I thought it would be, which is not bad, just not expected. The product was put together easily and installed with no problems. I like the dual switch settings, but not sure why one switch controls 4 bulbs and the other with controls the other 2 bulbs. It would be nice to have a variable control for the brightness, but other than that... excellent product, and the price was great.

Upgraded from from PC lights to this fixture. The 36incher is a lot bigger than I thought, which was perfectly fine with me ^_^, and with only 4 of the 6 bulbs installed currently its pushing out more light then the old PC's. So far the corals are adjusting to the new light, a little flat and unhappy but no bleaching yet and hopefully none in the future. So far everything has been good, Petmountain had a good price on the item and before it was shipped they inspected to find that the last one was damaged. So instead of sending me a busted light they ordered a new one and sent that instead. I'd always rather have a delayed delivery than a broken item and ship it back to wait longer. Thanks for the quality light!
