I bought two of the 50w heaters...

....one for each 5.5 gal. tank and they work perfectly! It took about 2 days to get the exact temperature I wanted (77 degrees F). They arrived in perfect condition and I only check my temps once a day just because I'm a worry wort, not that I doubt my new heaters would fail me! Reliable Heater for Small Aquarium

This is a reliable aquarium heater for my 10 gal tank that I keep on my porch outside. I live in AZ and used a heater only in winter time to keep my fish and plants alive.

Unplug Before You Do A Water Change.

I'm new to aquariums and didn't realize that I needed to unplug the heater before I did a water change. My Aquatop is now history after only two weeks. I'm going to try an Aqueon heater next. It has an automatic shutoff to protect it if I ever forget to unplug the heater again.
