My canaries and lovebirds are crazy for this disco ball!

A friend gave me one of these some time ago, and I thought the cheap construction and tiny mirrors wouldn't stand up to my birds. I also thought they would prefer the much larger mirrors also in their cages. Boy, was I wrong! Yeah, the toy looks cheap, and it should -- it costs $2. But my birds are crazy for it. They will peck the thing, watching it swing back and forth and flash in the sunlight, for extended periods of time, with no apparent damage to the ball. So I'm back, buying 2 more of 'em to add to another cage.
