Algone helped save my fish

I always have Algone on hand - both sizes. It won't bring high nitrates down to zero - if that is what you are hoping it to do...It does keep nitrates from rising too high. The main benefit of Algone is that it does NOT remove medications. Algone will keep your aquarium water safe for fish during disease treatments.....and after. I use the smaller size in my ten gallon and twenty gallon and the larger size in my 75 gallon. Water in all tanks is super clear. I replace the pouches every two weeks (just out of convenience as that is how often I service the filters). Note: The pouches will swell up and smell bad if left in too long...Which just shows they are working to remove organics. In NO WAY does Algone cause cloudy water as I have seen in reviews on other sites. Algone does not harm fish in anyway. I was happy to see Algone offered here and will add some to my next order. Great price and excellent customer service.
