Seachem Stability New Tank Stabilizing System

No product will cycle a tank by itself - you have to put in the time and work, but this product is an aid in the process. I bought the Seachem mainly to add to my established tanks during water changes and have found it works great. This is not a product that you can put in a new tank and expect your tank to be cycled in a snap - that's not going to happen. Tanks need to be cycled either using the "fishless cycling" or using fish, and parameters need to be checked daily in order to keep the fish healthy. This product is an AID, and a good one.

I have and will continue to use Seachem Stability because it actually works in aiding the cycling process. I've even stopped going to an LFS near me because NONE of the staff had even heard of 'Seachem' products. Wut!?

I have found this to be extremely effective when I use it with each water change. I can clean my filter media and do a water change at the same time and do not get an ammonia spike. I use it as a weekly preventative to maintain a healthy beneficial bacteria culture in my tanks. Great product!

I used Stability to save my Koi that had nearly died. We had 4 Koi in our pond and 3 died with no signs of illness or injuries. I tried everything I could think of to save the last one and decided to move her into an emergency tank. I started with Stability and Prime and followed the 7 day new tank suggestions. Within 3 days she was better, after water change in the pond I moved her back outside. Within a week, I added 10 tiny pond comets to keep her company, so far so good. I will always have Stability on hand, it's a fish must-have.

I have use stability for a long time. I used to get cloudy water all the time be for I started using stability and prime. I have gotten 4 of my friends in to fish tanks an I had them use your products from the beginning.

This product is excellent to help setting a new aquarium.

I would give this product 50 stars if I could. Like many before me, I jumped into owning goldfish without knowing anything about them. After 3 days of owning a fish, I was scouring the internet trying to find solutions to all the problems I was having. After a harrowing 100 days with my tank showing absolutely no signs of cycling properly, I purchased this Seachem Stability. 5 days later, I went from having no signs of cycling to being completely cycled. Thankfully, I was more fortunate than others who started the same as I did, and my fish survived this experience. She is now two years old. I would never attempt to cycle another tank without this product!

Nothing cycles for you but this product is a huge aid in keeping your tank safe while the fish cycle it.

The SeaChem "Stability" and "Prime Water Conditioner" products are excellent. I frankly wouldn't trust other chemicals for establishing healthy aquarium water. I use PetMountain as my source for these products because they carry the larger containers at a competitive price.

I ran a comparison between this and BIO-Spira in two different tanks and the one with Stability actually cycled in less time than BIO-Spira. Took about 7 days. You can't beat the price either.
